CANINE TREATMENT

Canine physiotherapy can be beneficial for all dogs, whether they are a highly competitive agility dog, working dog or a family pet! Injury can affect any dog at any time as a result of trauma, degeneration or strength imbalances. Physiotherapy uses a multimodal approach including manual techniques, electrotherapies and remedial exercise for rehabilitative and preventative care to help your dog feel and perform their best. Each dog is attended to with individualised care to meet their needs throughout a session which includes a thorough assessment of the musculoskeletal system to identify/assess areas of pain, injury and asymmetries whilst all treatment is clinical reasoned to the assessment findings.

Some indicators that your dog could benefit from physiotherapy:

Changes in movement patterns

Reluctant to do their normal activities

Struggling to stand and lie down

Dog becomes sensitive to touch in specific areas
