Gracie Exler
Integrated masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy (IMSc Level 7).
Member of the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP).
Hello, I'm Gracie a Veterinary Physiotherapist based in Crawley, West Sussex. Animals have forever held a special place in my heart with physiotherapy always being the end career goal and now that I get to call this my job is always a pinch me moment!
I embarked on my journey into Veterinary Physiotherapy in September 2022 at Writtle University where I studied on the four year integrated masters course (Level 7) which covered a variety of topics including anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition, rehabilitation, electrotherapies, dissections and two dissertations as well as gaining countless hours of practical experience to provide me with a high level of competency. Alongside my own clients I work part time in a canine centre in Kent as a physiotherapist and hydrotherapist, known as Splash Paws.
Over numerous years I have spent a lot of time loving and caring for animals whether it was working as an equestrian groom or gaining work experience in a dog groomers but now being able to pursue this passion in the form of Veterinary Physiotherapy makes me incredibly happy, particularly when seeing the effects it has on both animals and their owners lives.
In my spare time, I train and compete my share horse Destiny where we like to do a bit of everything from trotting down centre lines to flying around a course of show jumps. I also enjoy walking and training my rescue cokapoo, Coco. If I am not around the animals you will find me enjoying a hike, running, in the gym or spending time with friends and family.
I look forward to meeting you and your four legged friends!
